Spring 2017

CEP 815 Technology and Leadership

Instructors: Aman Yadav

Description: CEP 815 discussed the relationships between technology and leadership and how leadership aided in technology can benefit educators. I identified a problem of practice and developed a strategy to remedy the problem. Along with that, I created a vision of what a technology leader looks like and does as a professional.

Spring 2018

EAD 801 Leadership & Organ Development

Description: EAD 801 was a course that focused on characteristics of leaders and forms of leadership. I created a research paper that brought together and synthesized main ideas of the course creating my own leadership profile based on other leadership characteristics.

Summer 2017

EAD 860 Concept of Learning Society

Instructors: Steven Weiland, Graham McKeague

Description: EAD 860 was a course focusing on the concept of what a “Learning Society” looks like in actuality and its historical context within education. Coursework focused on case studies from various hypermedia related to topics with a learning society.

Summer 2018

TE 846 Accomm Diffs Literacy Learners

Instructors: Jennifer VanDerHeide

Description: TE 846 course work included a case study on an individual students readers profile. Working through a diagnostic training and exercise I created a detailed report of one single learner at the middle school level.

Fall 2017

EAD 863 Training & Professional Dev

Instructors: John Dirkx

Description: EAD 863 brought concepts of teaching adult learners within the field of professional development. Leadership styles and roles were a key focus of the course. Creating valuable learning experiences for lifelong learners.

Fall 2018

ED 800 Concepts Educational Inquiry

Instructors: Steven Weiland, Nathan Clason

Description: ED 800 was the foundation for educational inquiry. Discussions of historical context, to personal inquiry experiences, all the way up to the current time period along with digital inquiry. This course focused on examinations of various inquiry forms.

Spring 2019

CEP 817 Learning Tech through Design

Instructors: Bret Staudwillet

Description: CEP 817 utilized a different platform for the course other than D2L. Focusing on the Stanford Model of Design, I followed the model and protocol to understand the process in which designers create, test, and evaluate their creations.

Summer 2019

CEP 820 Teaching Students Online

Instructors: Anne Heintz

​

Description: CEP 820 revolved around the most effective practices teaching students online. I built a website to host a classroom for my Electronic Music Intramural. I have utilized some of the material for my actual face to face course.

Fall 2019

KIN 855 Psychosocial Bases of Coaching

Instructors: Andrew Driska

​

Description: KIN 855 was a course focused on psychology of athletes and coaches. Learning about optimum ways in which a coach can impact his individual athletes and teams along with finding what success actually means to the individual.
