I'm from Milford, Michigan. Graduated from Milford High School in 2007. Grew up with a passion for sports, friends, and family. I played basically every sport I could which played a large part of my career choice of education. I come from a family of teachers. I have taught at my current school, White Lake Middle, for the past seven years. I teach 7th & 8th Grade World and US History. I have coached practically every sport available, baseball, football, basketball, wrestling, track, and cross country. The ladder two sports I currently coach as well.

Personally, I am four years married to my wife Dana. We have a beautiful daughter Rowan. She is one year old and a total blast.

My hobbies include working on my house, gardening, and making/recording music. I have just recently signed a publishing deal for my music, which was an exciting step toward moving my passion for what I considered a hobby to being a potential career. I have brought my love and knowledge for music into my professional world as well. I received a grant from Ableton (Music Software Company) for 90 licenses for students at my school (equivalent to $13500!). I just began teaching students the software and it is very rewarding.

Aside from music, my true passion is and will always be learning and helping others learn. Being passionately curious is the most important characteristic!
